Yut Kee

Hainanese style chicken chop. Don't grade the quality of the food with the western one, this one is something different. Probably lack of a good name for it... It goes really well with the belacan.

Roti babi, direct translation, pork bread. It's a layer of fried bread with pork inside. Apparently it's really good but I probably think that way because I had this right after the chicken chop. I was already too full for it... Well I'll try it again another time.

This shop has been around for decades, so you can imagine the shop is actually pretty old. Back then there is no air conditioner or luxurious cafes. It's just that typical old "coffee shop" in KL that still serves good food. Don't be surprised as there is always a queue, even if you're there past lunch hours.

They serve a variety range of food too, like Wat Tan Hor (noodles with egg gravy), I like their hokkien mee too. If you're a first timer, do try their chicken chop. They also sell kaya swiss roll... Be sure to order earlier as these cakes are their best-selling product. I personally feel it's the best kaya swiss rolls I've ever tasted. I never fail to buy a box whenever I'm there. If you happen to be in KL do drop by as it's one of the best "coffee shop" food you must try.
