The Morgan Arms

Seared tuna with cucumber pasta served with wasabi aioli.

I fell in love with cucumber pasta!!! It's basically cucumber that went into some sort of pasta cutting machine to come out in a form of spaghetti!! Cucumbers are generally crunchy when it's freshly prepared, so you can imagine the crunchiness when it's long and thinly sliced. Overall, this Japanese-inspired dish is really refreshing and it goes super well with the lightly seared sesame tuna!

Smoked duck breast with sliced portobello mushrooms served with lots of greens, spinach mostly.

Did not really like it, portion is lacking, mushroom slices were not quite sufficient for the large portion of greens.

Not your typical Sunday Roast. This, my friend, is a mush!!!

Angus beef served with roast potatoes, carrots, greens, beetroot (gosh, this is my first time seeing beetroot - something it'd be better off without!! I can be so biased about that because I dislike Beetroot!), butter squash puree and the most incredible YORKSHIRE PUDDING! It was slightly overdone, but it still tastes good though it could've been better.

It all came to about £70++, with beer/cider if I remember correctly. Not possible to not have beer/cider even if it's a Sunday. Not possible.
All in all, not too bad to feed four hungry people!

Sunday brunch at a pub is a norm, so remember to get your table booked beforehand as they might get too busy on a Sunday! They do events from time to time, so better call to do a check beforehand!
