I swear Malaysian food is heavenly. Even Malay food has so many kinds and recently I've been searching for good Kelantanese food in KL.

 Laksam (RM18.30)

This makes the second attempt for Kelantanese Laksam. I had my first one at Capital Nasi Dagang, where the broth is nicer than Belanga's. Belanga's broth is thick but lack of asam flavours. Not sure if it's meant to be like that, but the taste is rather bland compared to the really flavour Capital Nasi Dagang. But on the other hand, Belanga serves the proper Laksam noodles. Looks very much like Chinese's Chee Cheong Fun isn't it :)

Also, this Laksam is totally not worth RM18.30. It's just noodles, broth, vegetables and egg?!

 Lompat Tikam (RM6.80)

This is very delicious, some kueh with sticky rice. It probably is Thai influenced, well Kelantanese food in general is being at the border of Thailand. The kueh is slightly sweet which goes so well with the coconut and gula Melaka. It all blends well so that it wouldn't be a "sweet dessert" in general. The colour itself is so pretty and attractive!

To be frank the prices are slightly on the high end. Might try the Nasi Dagang in future, but really not too sure if I should as I was not quite satisfied with the Laksam. Furthermore, the prices are not very friendly either so I'll probably resort to Capital Nasi Dagang or Cafe Kesom for Kelantanese goodness.
