Senjyu

Foie Gras and Oyster Mentai Maki

Soba

Sukiyaki

Overall no complaints. price is slightly higher than average Japanese restaurants. Expect to fork about RM40 per person depending on what you're planning to order. I like their creativity on certain sushis, like the Foie Gras one. Even though the portion is small but if it would have been any bigger the price would be more expensive then. Therefore, they do price their items reasonably.

The only dissatisfaction is their service. On a Sunday night, they can be so busy till they ignore. They even forgot to place order for my Soba and did not serve it with the quail egg. I asked why, they said their kitchen ran out of quail eggs and conveniently ignored the egg. When I said I do not want it anymore they told me to wait for 10 minutes for them to restock some quail eggs. It does sound ridiculous that I do not want the entire portion just because of an egg. It's not JUST AN EGG. It's part of the food, it's what they should deliver. They should have told me this piece of information and give me an option to change or cancel, not after all the hassle. Then I have to get angry at something missing, then I have to be furious over the waiting time.

Of course I don't mean that, but I'm just stating the point that they could have been better. Even though it's full house, that is not my concern from a customer's perspective. Something has to be done if more people are needed to deal with the customers. Not to mention, we waited for more than 40 minutes before the food came. I will definitely come back to check somehow some day to see if there is any improvement.
