Evening Specials: Egg Noodles with Braised Pork Knuckles (RM19.80)

Finally got a chance to try THW in Malaysia! When it first launched in Malaysia, the hype for it was so unbelievable. The queue was easily up to two hours back then - madness I don't even want to be near it. Thank goodness I didn't have to queue now! And wow, they actually have evening specials for those who wants only a bowl of noodle.

Tim Ho Wan's signature Baked Buns with BBQ Pork (RM11.50)

For some reason the buns tasted better in KL. I complained about the buns being too sweet in Singapore's branch but it wasn't as sweet here in KL. I like it! :)

Steamed Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp (RM8.30)

Not sure why the one I had in Singapore was tasteless, but the one in KL is so strong Popeye can smell it from far, far away!

Braised Chicken Feet with Abalone Sauce (RM10.50)

Nicely and slowly braised with sauces, chicken feet is nicely braised to perfection, very soft.

There you go, just wait for the hype to die and you'll be able to try the HK Michelin One Star in Kuala Lumpur. :)

Some says it is overrated, some thinks it's great. It all comes to personal preference, as I personally find some of these dimsum plates are better than certain famous places in KL. The extra dollars we are paying for is for THW's name, which I do not mind. If we do get promotions from time to time that would be even better! :)
