Starlight Seafood Naturalle

Just another Chinese restaurant in Klang Valley, and their concept is rather unique. There are a few different floors (explains the size considering that they are an independent Chinese restaurant!!) - they even have a huge hall for wedding purposes!!

This is their special rice, I don't even remember the name of it... Unfortunately it comes in only one size - so it's not quite possible to have it when your group is small. Just ask for the "special rice", yes it is that popular.

Bean curd with pumpkin sauce. Very light dish and it's one of my personal favourite.

Nestum Mantis Shrimp

Oh... they also have Karaoke in the personal dining rooms. Songs are quite limited, with a wide selection of old Chinese songs.

Braised Pork Belly with Steamed Buns

There is a dance floor in the middle of the restaurant (I kid you not), where there is live performances on selected days and people will start dancing after 9pm!! Even though they are no longer young but hey.... they dance better than most young people out there...

Sauna Prawns - another favourite dish of mine

Salted Egg Yolk Squid

The kitchen is huge... and you can see it from outside. I like restaurants with open kitchen concept because (1) we humans are very curious so we would peek and check out, (2) it gives me the feeling where they have "nothing to hide because we are clean, so please look at us".

Some fried rice (can't remember what's this)

Steamed Pomfret

I find fishes are relatively expensive. It goes by weight, and this one we had costs at least RM100. It was worth it because it's really fresh and it is huge!! I mean for such a big fresh fish and eating out in an air-conditioned place... It's quite fair.

Lemongrass Jelly for dessert. Not always available though.

The prices are quite cheap actually for a typical Chinese restaurant. The location is rather odd, right in some residential area. But I can assure you, it's one of the comfortable Chinese restaurants in Klang Valley which isn't some chain.

They also have wedding packages if you're looking for a venue - the hall is huge with two floors and a stage in the middle. It looks so glam like a theatre hall!! In fact it looks better than most Chinese restaurant halls.

  1. Wow, this food looks very tasty. I wish I could grab all this right now. Well, at some local Seattle venues we would also be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on next weekend. It is going to be a fun BBQ party and entire family is very excited.
