Hakka Restaurant

This restaurant had been around for ages. Hakka food is what you expect when you visit.

Braised pork belly with mui choy. Good to know they are not using really fatty meat, but as a result it's quite dry...

Another typical Hakka dish - Tofu with Minced Meat and Spring Onions

Mom said grandma used to prepare this dish when she was still around. There are many versions, some may choose to put prawns instead. It depends on preference.

Overall, I find that there are more Cantonese choices than Hakka dishes. Also, the Hakka selections are not that good either. To be fair, some of these homecooked dishes tasted a lot better than theirs. The only item which I like is the homemade Hakka Noodles. Ask for extra minced meat, it will be so much nicer! Being a native Hakka, I would say this place isn't the best for Hakka food but they serve OK decent Chinese food. 

Hakka Restaurant is located right behind Pavilion, easily accessible with the bridge heading towards KLCC.
