Jake's Charbroil Steaks

Oxtail Soup (RM25)

Those days there were not many fancy restaurants in Klang Valley. When it comes to birthday celebrations, we would normally suggest Victoria Station or The Ship. I've never even heard of Jake's but apparently they are one of the older steakhouse too.

Escargots (RM32)

Coming to Jake's reminded me so much of childhood. The one reason we don't go to older steakhouses anymore is because we are now spoilt with choices. I would have thought those escargots are bloody disgusting, but not when I've grown up eating those snails!

Sirloin (RM71)

It was never cheap to have steaks, and still isn't cheap.

Tenderloin (RM100)

Another reason which held us back, is the quality of the food. Most people just can't be bothered with the quality anymore. Fortunately, Jake's is still up to par. At least we walked out as happy customers!

Tiramisu (RM18)

Growing up, I used to go to Victoria's Station for birthday celebrations. We just stopped over the couple of years as the quality is just rubbish now. Thankfully, dining in Jake's, I've managed to recollect some of the wonderful times. It was great visiting some of these old steak houses; it bring back really nostalgic memories. :)
