Udon Kobo Min Min

Min Min's udon looks really tempting from pictures...

Very limited seats and I like the idea of the bar seats, just like the ones you get in Japan. But I guess it's a Japan thing which wouldn't work that well in Malaysia.

Curry Udon (RM18.90) was quite perfectly done, like their description, it is tender, chewy, dense sort of texture which is just nice. 

Tempura Udon (RM19.90)

Honestly, the broth is a letdown. It is very bland, if it wasn't for the Tempura I'm not sure how can I even eat half of it. I could barely taste seaweed or anything else, felt as though it was just plain water... The noodles were surprisingly not as properly done like the curry version. It just wasn't properly cooked I thought I was eating rubber band or something. I'm not sure if it is undercooked, but it really felt harder and more chewy.

In fact the Tempura wasn't that great either. It just happen to be more flavourful and makes it easier for me to consume every bite of that Udon. The batter itself didn't feel thin, light and flaky. It felt like any other deep-fried food coated with flour

Credits to their Onsen Egg. Initially they served a broken egg but I requested to change. I personally feel they should not even serve the broken one in the first place. Glad that they dealt with the situation and replaced it with the egg quality they should have provided. Indeed, their eggs are just so perfect. So soft, so bouncy it pops!!

I wouldn't mind giving it another try but I will not order the Tempura Udon anymore. Apparently they are famous for the Mizu Mochi, if it wasn't for that Udon I would have ordered it. I was just so disappointed, all I want to do is leave. After thinking for a while, it could have been just that day or that particular dish. So yes, I will definitely try it another time.
