Vanilla Sky

I had really high hopes to see new cafes in the neighbourhood. Knowing that rental is obviously more expensive in KL, it must have some kind of value for its existence.

Typical cafe serving fusion Asian and Western selections.

Great space with pretty art hanging on the wall. I wonder how much have they spent for the renovation!

It was late afternoon when we were there, place was completely empty.

Wild Mushroom Soup (RM9)

Very bland, watery and diluted. So much fail.

Beef Noodles (RM12)

Instant noodles with a few slices of beef and topped with sesame, pre-packed onions and some vegetables.

Sambal Chicken with Wild Rice (RM10)

Slightly spicy chicken, possibly the only edible dish. Also, the fried onions (not even freshly prepped) on the rice. Why!??!!? Not everybody loves all these kind of prepped onions in their servings.

Chicken Chop (RM13)

The most miserable looking chicken chop in history. Why would you chop it half and serve it? I seriously can't get the logic. The sauce is just tasteless. They tried to be unique by putting sambal on the fries which is nothing wrong, but awkwardly weird combination.

No second time.If they want to serve such food, live up to its quality. Don't give excuses such as you pay this, you get this. This is just bad. I really don't mind paying a little bit more for better food and if I want cheap food, I would have gotten better quality cheap food with better prices.
