Rak Somtam

Didn't like the fact that they increased their prices, like major 30% increase! Tom Yam was previously priced at RM19.90, and it's RM26.90 now.

Chiang Mai  Pork Belly Curry (RM21.90) was previously not available in the menu but available upon request. Now they have it added into the new menu.

Steamed Sea Bass - previously RM34.90, now RM44.90.

Green Curry from RM16.90 to RM23.90???? Pork Neck RM18.90 to  RM26.90?????? Som Tam from RM12.90 to RM15.90????????

Honestly do not understand the logic to it, you have a set of regular customers but you just shoo-ed us off with the minimum 30% increase. Increase is understandable perhaps a dollar or two, a gradual increase but what's with the sharp increase?! Also the portion is not extremely huge either to justify that kind of increase. This is a little bit too much which will only make customers turn to other Thai joints to try instead of becoming a regular. 

P/S: I would highly recommend Frame Thai over Rak Somtam. They also offer great Thai dishes with reasonable prices, but with only one downside is it isn't air-conditioned and it's not as comfortable as Rak Somtam. Nevertheless Frame Thai offers a better close-to-Thai taste/ambience.

Sorry Rak Somtam, it's time to bid goodbye after becoming a regular for a while now!
