Turkish Airlines: Prawns Volcano & Breakfast

Even though I did not enjoy the experience with Turkish Airlines as an overall package, mainly due to the facilities and the crew on board, the one thing I'm fascinated with is their food. They have in-flight chefs to prepare the food. You can tell by their uniform. Also, it is very important not to request anything from the chefs, they get extremely sulky and upset which was not really needed. If they don't like it, so page a crew to come to us. I don't even want to get into details of their crew since this post is about their food.

I picked the Prawn Volcano thinking what the heck is that, probably wouldn't go wrong with rice and vegetables. Boy, the prawns were HUGE, and these are deliciously prepared! The meal felt so fresh like I'm having it in a physical cafe! Both eggplant appetiser and dessert cheese cake were amazing; I actually finished my entire tray of food!

Scrambled eggs for breakfast - gosh this is one of the most perfectly done eggs for an in-flight meal! I'm not getting overcooked eggs or reheated portions for breakfast! Cheese toast wasn't that great but it didn't matter.

They also serve homemade lemonade, tad bit sweet for me but it may be great for you. Overall, the dining experience with Turkish Airlines was great. It is also the only great thing with the airline.

Flight: Kuala Lumpur [KUL] to Istanbul [IST]
