Ishin Japanese Dining

Complimentary starters - deep fried prawns with mayo.

We sat at the bar, right in front of these live tiny crabs.

Sashimi Moriawase (RM80++)

Thick cuts of sashimi with better quality wasabi. Not freshly grated, but better than the tube ones you get off supermarket shelves.

Chuka Kurage

Chawanmushi - Caviar, Uni and Tobikko (RM20++)

Basically just a fancier version of Chanwanmushi. Nevertheless, this is something not everyone can do!

The Teppan Beef Set.

The beef was rather disappointing - it was overdone. Even after returning, the beef was rather overdone. Manager apologised as their available stock isn't that great so and we cancelled the order.

Soft Shell Crab and Avocado Roll (RM40++)

I like how their avocado is sliced very thinly - it makes you feel like you're not having the actual avocado but still tasting it!

I can't remember the exact price for each dish, so I've added my estimation! Our dinner did not exceed RM180, not inclusive of alcohol.

Please make a reservation - for those who didn't, the queue was really super long! Well based on my observation for the night!
