Ngiu Chap Wong

Ngiu Chap Wong literally means "Mixed Beef King" in Hakka, and I'll have to give it to them! You don't really find places in Klang Valley that serves beef noodles in an air-conditioned and comfortable cafe.

A small noodle shop hidden in Plaza Damas. There are only a few selections to pick from their regular menu and a few more on their seasonal menu. Since they are famous for their beef, we picked the beef noodle and beef stew.

Beef Stew (RM18)

Very generous chunks of Australian be, tendon and radish, filled with starchy beef gravy. There are a few  noodles to pick from - we chose to have no noodles.

Beef Noodle Soup (RM13)

It's lighter as compared to the beef stew and serves lesser premium items as compared to the stew. Lots of  mixed beef parts like beef trip is also found in the noodle. This is cheaper than the stew perhaps because the ingredients used is also cheaper. The broth has really aromatic flavours and it is very easy to consume.

What made them even more awesome, the service is very good, staffs are friendly and they take credit card payment even if it's only one bowl! I asked if this is the typical Seremban beef noodles, he said nope. It's just their own recipe, it seems.

P/S: There are two types of chilli - do ask them for their special chilli. The special chilli is a bit sourish on top of the spiciness.
