Wasabi Bistro

 Kumi's No.1 (RM19)

A mash with crabmeat, whitefish and avocado, covered with secret sauce.

 Soft Shell Crab Roll (RM58)

Soft shell crab was fine but the roll is pathetic overall. Instead of using Ebikko they used sesame seeds. Why substitute it when they charge rocket high prices.

 Salmon Belly x2 portions Hamachi x1 portion (RM65 x RM99)

Very thick and fresh cuts.

 Australian Beef Shabu-Shabu (RM215)

 Kobe Beef / Japanese Prime Wagyu Beef Grade A5 (RM220)

Highlight of the night.

Very lightly cooked on a teppanyaki and served on a bed of beansprouts with roots completely removed.

The Kobe beef melts in the mouth! The amount of fat is more than the meat, no wonder it melts. It's very nicely marbled too, which added to the melting factor.

 Veggie Udon (RM55)

The udon that comes with meat costs RM55++, the one without meat, costs the same too! Amusing the way they price their item.

If it wasn't for Elite Card, some of the items are not worth ordering. With MO's Elite, everything's half off. I recall I've had it once years ago and nothing turned out well (including rolls and all), but this trip seems fine to me.
