Gogi King

Side Dishes

Corn Cheese (RM20)

Overall food spread

Ordered Set B - Pork Belly, Pork Collar and Spareribs (RM60). Comes with cheese dip and egg at the side!

Clearly one set is not enough for 3 pax. Added a plate of Octopus for RM26.

This place is somewhat similar to Sae Ma Eul, the popular one just down the street. However, it's less busy perhaps due to the value. For the same price, the portion is bigger at Sae Ma Eul, well, everybody loves cheap and good. However, the noticeable difference is they offer cheese and egg by default. There is an additional charge of RM8 for more cheese.

Also, for some reasons there are a lot of flies at Gogi King which we don't experience it in Sae Ma Eul. It got a little irritating as we were just shooing flies the whole time.

My verdict about Gogi King is, there are plenty of other Korean restaurants in the area and no I did not think this place stood out. I am a returning customer for Sae Ma Eul but I wouldn't come back to Gogi King, not because they are not good, just that I wouldn't think of this place as there are better places in Solaris itself.
