Green Curry Beef (RM27.50)

Average Thai food in the mall. They are also part of Absolute Thai's group. We walked in because we were too lazy to walk to The Gardens for Absolute.

Tom Yam Goong (RM22)

The quality seems to be different from Absolute at The Gardens. Take for example, the Tom Yum Goong tasted a bit like local Malay's tom yum soup, and not the Thai version. Lack of herbs I would say...

Pineapple Fried Rice (RM24.20)

The pineapple fried rice was alright in general, the portion was fairly good for 2-3 pax.

Nam Prik (RM32)

The Nam Prik was a letdown. The batter for fried vegetables is clearly way too thick and looks really unappetising. The rest are just blanched vegetables. I'm not sure what in this dish costs so much, more expensive than the green curry beef? Perhaps because there were a few chunks of fish, deep fried in small cubes which were not fresh too.

Also, water costs RM2.20 per jug.

I would advise you to walk across to Absolute at The Gardens instead. Their quality in general is way better - and it explains the crowd difference. Absolute Gardens is always full, as compared to Amarin which was not even half full on a Friday night.

On a side note, we tapped the bill with a UOB card for 25% cashback, which is applicable to Visa Infinite / Lady's Solitaire only and this campaign is on till 31st August 2017.
