Wild Honey

Queen Bee (RM14)

A fancier name for grapefruit juice and soda.

Paris Hot Chocolate (RM16)

The hot choc is rather pricey, but it's defintely worth it! Never expected such rich and smooth hot choc!

Tunisian (RM35)

Apparently this is one of the best selling dishes in Singapore's Wild Honey. Friend said it's too watery but well for me who hasn't tried WH Singapore, is pretty satisfied with it! I don't know what bread at the side but that is super good - so very fluffy and just a great hint of butter. It's so good you can eat it on its own!

Barbary (RM36)

The other "must order" dish at Wild Honey. The Barbary Duck Confit. This somewhat reminded me of Duck & Waffle, except this is served with brioche. Sadly, the duck wasn't as succulent. It's tad bit too dry.

Roasted Pumpkin and Sweet Potato (RM22)

Very appetising salad for the meat we've ordered.

Scandinavian (RM42)

I don't know what godly sauce did they put on the salmon, but it is so good that I like it the most! The crispy bits, the Hollandaise sauce is the perfect combo!!

Squidward attack!!

No just kidding. Mummy says don't play with your food.

Canadian (RM26)

Pancakes were fine, fluffy and delicious but wait, they advertised to serve two sausages but we only got one!

Yes. False advertising spotted.

Before I got to try the sausage, it was already GONE. I don't think I'll order the Canadian for the second time though, nothing spectacular.

This is what happens when you want to try everything.

Verdict? There are some hits and misses, but I will not fault this place and say silly things like this place isn't as good as Singapore, etc. Some dishes are actually worth having - I don't mind another plate of Scandinavian and Tunisian! Price is definitely higher than most cafes in Klang Valley, by about 10% - 15% at least? Perhaps it's the location, nothing is cheap in Pavilion.

Also, I'm simply amazed with their booking system. I've seen this a lot in other countries like Bangkok or London, but not in Malaysia. So basically you'll need to key in your phone number and it'll generate a number. That is your queue number. It's nothing sophisticated really, but it's not common in Malaysia. Thank goodness, they finally allow online booking starting from 1st Jan 2017!
