Shabu Garden

Ala carte steamboat / hotpot in Kuchai that serves buffet quality food with a higher price tag. The meatballs, fishballs and tofu are practically what you can get from the market. Homemade meatballs were so tiny - 75% of the size of market meatballs. Rationing is fine but hey... you're charging people money, so deliver? Bill came up to almost RM220 for 5 pax. It just wasn't fantastic for the price they charge.

P/S: The only seafood that we have is the prawn from the set. The rest are just normal items. Also... The service is unpredictable. On good days you'll receive smiles, but on bad days you are not even allowed to select your table. At least that was what we saw!

Likes: Plenty of choices
Dislikes: Most complicated menu ever - many sections with different pages and you have to practically flip for 15 minutes before even ordering it because it is confusing AF. Cheap ingredients but charge premium price, not sure if it's the best place for hot pot. Parking is a NIGHTMARE - but they do have announcements just in case your car is blocking someone else's. Service is unpredictable.
