Omaya

Watermelon Soju (RM36.90)

Super overpriced watermelon soju - do it yourself at home will cost you half of what you're paying here. But that's always the price to eat out...

Honey Mustard Boneless Chicken Cube (RM30)

Probably 8-9 cubes of chicken and loads of cheese.

Served with fries... Portion a little too small for big eaters. It was alright for us as we ordered a lot more other dishes.

Shimson Stew (RM84)

The main item for the night.. Signature stew.

A bit quite stingy with chicken, most of it are onions. Generous when it comes to cheaper ingredients like onions, processed sausages and kimchi. We were actually wondering how is this portion for 2-3, seems a bit too little.

We finished everything except the noodles... Just way too much carb.

Squid with Cheese & Toppokki (RM45)

Then we have the signature squid with loads of cheese in the middle. This is definitely the place to avoid for cheese-haters.

Cheese game strong!

So I thought this was just it but nooooo - they cleared everything in the middle and started frying kimchi fried rice!!! No wonder it was meant for 2-3 pax.

And you think that's the end? No. Even more cheese in the middle!!! They successfully made us feel fat after everything.

Nevertheless, despite what others say about them, I actually like it... Service is not the best but... cheese is good... Chicken is flavourful... At least I wasn't one of those who had to queue for 2 hours...

Likes: It's all about cheese... Reservation accepted (no need to queue!)
Dislikes: Could improve with portions as they are charging quite high for each dish..
