Maruhi Sakaba 大众秘酒场

This place is an alternative if you're feeling too broke for Sumika but you still want to have Japanese Yakitori.

It's inexpensive and the portions are reasonable. Expect to pay around RM40-RM50 per person depending on your appetite. We were not particularly hungry but just looking to fill our tummies.

One thing you to note - you need to calculate how many sticks you've had, best it to take photos, as they tend to serve lesser than what you've ordered and bill you anyway.

It's not on purpose, but it could get a little messy if you add orders and the place is so busy. Best to keep track on your order.

I was looking forward to the Tsukune but it turned out to be a disappointment - the soft bones are not properly crushed so you can feel it on every bite you take out of that stick.

Also take note that the place is nothing fancy or air-conditioned but just a regular shoplot - if I have to describe it further it's like a Japanese mamak stall.

Likes: Reasonable prices, value for money yakitori
Dislikes: Not everything is good, could work on tracking/accuracy of orders
