Ru Di Fook 如狄福

Modern and clean cafe in Kota Damansara that serves Chinese food & tapas.

Signature Black (RM15.80)

Surprisingly of all things, their coffee is one of the more worthy order. Their ice cubes are made out of fruits and this coffee comes with a citrussy sourish ice.

Strawberry Latte (RM14.50)

A shot of espresso, strawberry ice and milk.

The fruity ice actually creates a more refreshing flavour in the coffee. I'm not a coffee lover, but if it's refreshing for me, why not. If you like it black you probably won't like these fancy ice cubes.

Eggplant Garlic (RM5.50)

Grilled Cauliflower (RM7)

Surprising good - it's very crunchy and the mayo is just so addictive. I just had to dip everything else with the mayo..

Yuzu BBQ Pork Small (RM9.80)

Yuzu pork with no yuzu taste. Uhh...

Roast Pork Small (RM9.80)

Soft Shell Crab Laksa (RM27.80)

Among all this was the only dish I will never order again. The broth is nice but the pasta noodles are right down flat and it doesn't blend in with the broth. For some reason eating it with the broth is somewhat rather tasteless. It just did not blend.

Wantan Mee (RM15.80)

Wan tan - boiled down a bit too soft for me. I like it springy texture but the one we had for the night was too soft. Nevertheless, I'm surprised with the generous portion of meat!

Boiled Wantan (RM9.80)

The meat portion in wantan is very generous, however it was tad bit soft as well. It wasn't as sweet and it just breaks apart, there's no good firm bite taste...

I guess wantan mee is really very subjective and based on personal preference..

Horlicks Banana (RM20.80)

The dessert tastes alright but I hope they can work on the appearance. It literally looks like a pile of shit.

Likes: Reasonable prices, value for money, Instagram worthy
Dislikes: There are some hits and misses, didn't think they have the "best wantan mee" though. It was good but it didn't give me that wow factor.
