Coco Steamboat Restaurant 海底炉

I've heard of this place for years but never actually visited because it's at OKR where we hardly ever go to. It would be more appropriate to visit on weekends where traffic is not as heavy. Unfortunately they don't allow two types of broth - such a pity. So I can only order their signature milky pork bone broth as I don't want the risk to try anything else.

Homemade meatballs - comprising of fish balls, beef balls, squid balls and mushroom balls.

The only issue I thought isn't as major, the colour of the actual item and the one we saw in the menu is different. Did they change the quality of the beef? That's not what we call for illustration purposes, it's called false marketing?! The one in the picture looks like good quality imported beef, whereas what we got is probably just local beef...

Nevertheless, the homemade meatballs are very fresh.

I particularly love the wantan so it deserves a picture on its own. They have actual real prawns in wantan, not just pork!

Likes: Milky pork broth, fresh vegetables and coriander, fresh homemade meatballs and wantan, not too much processed food choices
Dislikes: The ambience - place is very hot and air-conditioned area cannot fit large parties. Service is totally out of the question, somewhat non-existent and Vietnamese lady who served us was awfully rude.
