Olle Korean Barbecue

Beef Tartare (£11.20)

That new Korean BBQ place in Chinatown that serves pretty decent Korean food for really expensive and tiny portions.

Kimchi Jigae (£11.90)

What made them less Korean is they don't even serve side dishes unless you PAY for it. This is absolutely ridiculous - you get them free anywhere else in the world... They could have at least offered a few non-refillable ones to those who ordered BBQ meat...

BBQ Meat (£10 ~ £15)

8 thinly sliced tongue for £10.60 is very expensive which people are happy to pay if the quality is good... For such price, serve veggies and side dishes and your customers will be happy...

Also, there's a minimum order for grilled food - 2 portions.. I just can't accept it when a Korean place charges expensive, make you order a minimum and cannot even provide some basic vegetables and side dishes...

For a whopping £30 each, it's like might as well you go for Michelin lunch dining...

Likes: Good taste of Korean food
Dislikes: You may have to share the table with strangers, very expensive for such pathetic portions, they charge for side dishes which is not practice in Korea or most places in general. Not great in terms of value of money and they are not even fine dining to begin with. Expect a cafe setting with fine dining prices...
