Lung King Heen 龍景軒

My first 3 Michelin Stars experience.... I thought it wasn't too expensive so why not. It came up to about HKD500 per pax for lunch. Not going in detail for each item but let's scroll through some of the pictures before I summarise the experience.

The HKD74 per piece abalone puff. Half the size of what you get in Tin Lung Heen...

It's a one page dimsum menu - very limited and basic. None of the dimsum stood out and some were just horribly done. For instance, xiao long bao which has a thick skin? The most basic siumai you can get and any other stores?  The abalone puff, are they selling the abalone or the puff? The puff is so thick it ate up the abalone. The baked puffs with mushroom and beef was totally inedible - the filling smells rotten. My first 3 Michelin stars that turned out to be worst than a normal street dimsum shop. It was a waste of our time... Perhaps the Michelin stars were given based on their standard dishes but heck, no way their dimsum could even earn one star.

Likes: Nothing. Oh wait, century passable but hey, Yung Kee serves better ones.
Dislikes: Everything?
